Palermo is a beautiful liver chestnut colt
with a loving personality and just enough
flash to show off his eye-catching gaits. A
very typey foal, Palermo is showing the
talent it takes to win in the dressage
arena. He was awarded a First Premium
by the Oldenburg Verband with favorable
comments on his movement and modern
type. His full brother Paris won a
championship in the Pacific Northwest
with a young rider last year. Paris is now
embarking on a career in Combined
Training and loves jumping as much as
he does dressage.
Palermo is looking as though he will be a
top hunter prospect. His movement is
sweeping and flat kneed. He has been
free jumped and shows that big square
knees front and elasticity through his
back necessary to win at the "A" level.
He also has a calm and accepting
attitude for new situations. He will be
introduced to elementary under saddle
work this fall.
